In my music classes with young children I see this
every day. Music brings enthusiasm, energy, smiles,
ideas, more life to children’s worlds.

One day this week, as music class was ending, one 
little girl asked, “Miss Abby, can you come back 
tomorrow and do all the same things?” It made me
realize yet again how thirsty children are for music –
for singing, playing instruments, listening, dancing
and creating music. It’s one of life’s most profound
joys.
